Job summary

GTS Distribution in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving activities as assigned. The role is full-time and on site at our Kentwood facility.

You will perform data entry, order lookups, and inventory tasks using MAS200 and UPS systems, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three months' warehouse experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work under close supervision.
• Basic computer and data entry skills are expected.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment, including obtaining appropriate licenses as required.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping and receiving activities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accurately enter, edit and look up order information using GTS MAS200
• Accurately enter, edit and look up shipping information in UPS system
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipping with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Receive, stock and replenish inventory with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Normal warehouse environment with moderate noise levels from warehouse equipment.
• Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs.
• Constant standing, walking, bending, twisting and reaching.
