This hands-on role is responsible for safely and accurately unloading, inspecting, storing, sorting, and loading large bundles of natural stone and quartz slabs. Associates will operate forklifts (5,000–15,500 lb capacity) and overhead cranes to handle heavy materials and will use tablets, scanners, and ERP tools for processing inventory transactions.Success in this position requires a high level of attention to detail, commitment to safety, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The work is physically demanding andKey ResponsibilitiesMaterial HandlingSafely operate 5,000 lb forklifts with clamp attachments to unload inbound containers.Operate 15,500 lb forklifts and overhead cranes to store, move, and load bundles of stone and quartz slabs.Use saws, crowbars, and other power tools to remove dunnage, braces, and blocking materials during unloading.Secure bundles properly on outbound flatbed trucks according to company safety standards.Sort and stage material for customer viewing and outbound loading.Conduct all material handling operations with speed and efficiency, but also safely without harm or damage to self, team, or materialInventory & Quality ControlScan materials using tablets and scanners to ensure ERP accuracy for inbound, outbound, and transfer transactions.Inspect slabs for damage, correct labeling, and dimensional accuracy during unloading and staging.Assist with periodic cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations.Report quality issues, damages, or discrepancies to the Distribution Center Manager immediately.Safety & Facility MaintenanceFollow all company safety standards and SOPs including PPE usage, forklift protocols, and loading procedures.
