Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Kent, WA to unload, inspect, and organize shipments of custom cabinetry and hardware. You will enter receiving data, manage stock for inventory, and assist with damaged product returns. Training is provided for candidates with the right attitude.

The role requires standing for the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and may involve light construction tasks. Excellent benefits and 40-hour weeks with overtime potential are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Experience shipping/receiving in a warehouse preferred.
• Woodworking machine experience is a plus.

Job Description

Our Warehouse Associates unload and unpack shipments of custom cabinetry products and hardware, inspect for damage and correct quantities, report damages or shortages, and enter receiving data into our company database. This position will also prepare and organize received stock for inventory, return damaged products to senders, and monitor inventory levels.We will provide paid, on-the-job training to candidates with the right skill set and a great attitude!

***The pay for this position is $21-$26 DOE with a work schedule of Mon-Fri 5a-1:30p***

***Must be able to stand during entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs***

***Light construction experience is a plus***

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Basic math and organization skills
• Inventory management experience
• Ability to work on feet for an entire shift
• Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Experience shipping, receiving, or working in a warehouse is a plus
• Experience working with woodworking machines (saw, router, drill press) is a plus
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
