Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Unloading: Accept incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or defects, and verify quantities against packing lists or invoices.
- Inventory Management: Store items in appropriate locations and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Shipping and Handling: Load and unload trucks, ensure proper labeling and packaging, and assist with the dispatch of goods to customers or other locations.
- Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and report low inventory levels to supervisors.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards or inefficiencies.
- Quality Control: Perform regular checks on goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring products meet company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
