Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials, loading trucks, and processing inventory. This position may also require making occasional deliveries in our company pickup truck.

Richards Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Johnson City, TN location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist throughout the shift.
• Forklift experience desired.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Adherence to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and equipment.
• Work Monday through Friday with overtime opportunities during busy seasons.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs continually; some over 100 lbs lifting required.
• Load trucks with scheduled deliveries, ensuring compliance with DOT weight and security regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Verify loads for accuracy and security.
• Support warehouse functions including shipping/receiving.
• Assist walk-in customers with orders.
• Must have a clean driving record.
