Job description

Supports the day-to-day operations of the Branch by providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery, while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates must be able to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner. Employment offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test, which screens for substances including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and SAMHSA.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED; warehouse or distribution experience preferred.

- Ability to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code.

- Ability to read and match orders on shipping tickets.

- Basic math and reasoning skills.

- Ability to obtain certification for operating power-truck equipment.

- Experience with inventory control equipment, such as bar-coding systems and handheld devices.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures typical of warehouse environments.

- Ability to stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for extended periods.

- May require climbing ladders for top-level product selection.

- Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
