Job summary

Central Aluminum Supply is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves loading/unloading trucks, assisting with inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment at our Jackson, TN facility. You will safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks while adhering to safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have forklift certification or willingness to obtain it, plus strong organizational and communication skills. Drivers license is required.

Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assist in inventory tracking and counting processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have a driver's license
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Demands

The physical demands of a warehouse worker include lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching frequently. The worker must be able to perform tasks that involve climbing ladders or stairs, as well as operating forklifts or pallet jacks. Strong manual dexterity is required for handling equipment and performing detailed tasks. Workers must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
