Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

Receiving

· Unloadincoming materials.

· Complete receiving paperwork and system entry.

· Provide quality control for inbound shipments.

Shipping

· Identify and prioritize daily shipping requirements.

· Prepare orders for shipping by picking materials, packaging, and palletizing as needed.

· Prepare shipping documentation/labels for domestic and international shipping.

· Provide quality control for outbound shipments.

Warehouse Maintenance

·Manage warehouse supplies.

· Conduct maintenance and certification of all warehouse equipment.

· Ensure warehouse and shipping areas are clean, ordered, and hazard free.

· Provide routine reporting to Management on conditions of warehouse and equipment.

Deliveries

· Schedule and conduct local pickups and deliveries of product.

· Ensure maintenance of delivery vehicles.

Communication

· Know and support all company policies, operating procedures, and safety procedures.

· Communicate with Sales to support expedites and resolve receiving/shipping problems.

Qualifications:

· Must have fluent command of written and spoken English.

· Must be willing to complete a background check.

· Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

· Musthave a valid CA Driver's License.

· Ability to frequently lift and carry 50lb cartons.

· Ability to work under deadline pressures and to prioritize work.

· Strong communication skills.

· Must be organized, punctual, and detail oriented.

· Excellent work ethic and pride in performance.

· Ability to measure dimensions and make simple calculations.

Preferred Skills:

· Warehouse and/or Shipping experience.

· Proficiency with scales, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

· Proficiency with shipping programs such as UPS and FedEx.

· Ability to operate a stake-bed truck.

· Can-do attitude. Willingness to learn.

· Reliable Team Player.
