Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment within scheduled timelines, picks, packs, and drives as needed.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for:

• Receiving and off-loading materials
• Verifying counts against purchase orders
• Sorting stock and job materials
• Checking shipments for damage and noting paperwork
• Placing all materials in appropriate areas
• Staging materials for installation, shipment, or pickup
• Assisting customers with pickup and loading
• Using company software to maintain accurate inventory
• Utilizing hand tools, mechanical, and motorized equipment safely
• Making deliveries as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assisting with special projects and deliveries

Essential Functions

• Warehouse operations (receiving, shipping, delivery)
• Forklift operation
• Maintaining paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service
• Using computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc.)

Experience & Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to follow routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift heavy items throughout the day
• Attention to detail
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 75 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads
• Prior experience driving a box truck is a plus
