Job summary

Teq, a leading Educational Technology company based in Huntington Station, NY, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd Shift. The role involves receiving, storing, packing, shipping, and routing orders for next-day delivery, while maintaining stock accuracy and a safe warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and physical stamina to handle lifting and moving items.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure counts and shipments match documentation.
• Willingness to work the 2nd shift onsite (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

Responsibilities

• Route outgoing orders for next-day delivery and verify shipments against packing slips.
• Record piece counts on packing slips and sales orders; report discrepancies.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and ensure items are returned to stock properly.
• Perform forklift maintenance and secure the facility at day end.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment including manual labor tasks.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our 2nd Shift team. The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in our daily operations, handling receiving, storing, packing, shipping, and routing outgoing orders for next‑day deliveries. This hands‑on position ensures stock accuracy, precise order verification, and a clean, secure, and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities in this Role:

• Route outgoing delivery orders for the following day, highlighting stop numbers and special delivery instructions. Verify that all outgoing shipments are 100% complete and correct by checking parts against packing slips.


• Record piece counts on packing slips and customer sales orders. Identify, report, and immediately correct any inventory or pre‑load discrepancies before loading proceeds.


• Conduct inventory cycle counts, report issues promptly, and ensure return‑to‑stock items are put away in a timely manner.


• Perform periodic maintenance on forklifts and assembly tracks. Help lock and secure entrance gates at the end of the day.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Perform general manual labor including unloading, lifting, carrying, loading, and handling trash.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Forklift experience and proficiency operating a variety of material handling equipment.


• Strong attention to detail to ensure piece counts and shipments match documentation accurately.


• Ability to perform physical duties requiring lifting, pushing/pulling, stretching, bending, and sitting.


• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards.


• Ability to work the 2nd Shift schedule onsite: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday – Friday).
