ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warehouse Associate supports prefabrication and manufacturing by:
- Receiving materials, transporting, and organizing them for production.
- Loading completed products onto trucks for deliveries.
- Safely operating a forklift and maintaining an orderly warehouse.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Handling scrap and waste materials.
- Transporting materials to the shipping bay.
- Receiving and documenting merchandise.
- Ensuring proper packing, labeling, and shipping.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.
Compensation ranges from $48,000 to $60,000 plus discretionary bonuses, benefits, and employee ownership options. Individual pay depends on skills and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Basic inspection, math, and reading skills.
- Ability to work overtime occasionally.
- Successful background and Motor Vehicle Report check.
- Knowledge of electrical industry materials/tools is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work in warehouse environment, exposed to weather.
- Wear PPE including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility vests.
- Use of standard office equipment as needed.
- Frequent sitting, standing; occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, crouching.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
