Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Houston distribution team. You will greet customers, pick tickets, load/unload trucks, and use RF scanners to move products through our TWL warehouse system.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and teamwork under deadlines. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• High energy and integrity.
• Experience with building products and prior warehouse experience is strongly desired.
• Ability to work in a team and with customers.
• Ability to lift boxes and materials weighing up to 70+ lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move and track products in TWL WMS.
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Lift and move building materials up to 70 lbs.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.

• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
