Job summary

Xpress Trucking, Inc. in Honolulu, HI seeks a FULL-TIME Warehouse Associate to safely and efficiently move freight, stock, or other materials and perform general labor.

The role requires loading and unloading cargo, validating bills of lading, and ensuring accurate shipping charges. You’ll maintain warehouse cleanliness and work closely with teams across departments, while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience loading/unloading containers.
• Forklift and heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Cross-dock experience preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye-foot coordination.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments from shipping dock to containers.
• Arrange freight and cargo for delivery to loading platform.
• Prepare and examine bills of lading to determine shipping charges and tariffs.
• Freight inspection, monitor incoming/outgoing freight.
• Responds professionally to all customer needs and concerns.
• Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping, cleaning spills, and organizing space.
• Coordinate with internal staff and customers to address needs promptly and professionally.
• Back up small box truck driver as needed.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and perform duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments from shipping dock to containers.
• Arrange freight and cargo for delivery to loading platform.
• Prepare and examine bills of lading to determine shipping charges and tariffs.
• Freight inspection, monitor incoming/outgoing freight.
• Responds professionally to all customer's needs and concerns.
• Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping floor, wiping up spills, and keeping space organized.
• Responds promptly and professionally to internal staff and customer needs/concerns in a quick and courteous manner and able to bring unresolved issues to management.
• Back up Small Box Trucker Driver as needed.
• Work together as a team with all departments and offices.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
• Complete all other tasks, duties and errands as assigned.
