As a Warehouse Associate at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the distribution center or warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise to Walmart stores or directly to customers. • Key Responsibilities :
• Receiving and Unloading :
• Receive incoming shipments of merchandise, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
• Unload trucks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
• Record received goods in the inventory management system and distribute to appropriate storage locations.
• Inventory Management :
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Organize and store merchandise in designated locations within the warehouse, following safety and space utilization guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to warehouse supervisors.
• Order Picking and Packing :
• Pick items from shelves or storage bins according to pick tickets or electronic orders.
• Pack and prepare merchandise for shipping, ensuring that orders are complete and properly packaged.
• Label packages with shipping information and apply appropriate shipping labels.
• Shipping and Loading :
• Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery to Walmart stores or customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Load merchandise onto trucks or shipping containers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Coordinate with logistics personnel to schedule pickups and deliveries as needed.
• Safety and Compliance :
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Qualifications :
