Job summary

Watco Careers is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to manage HVAC freight, inventory, and daily deliveries for our wholesale HVAC distributorships. You will ensure accurate receiving, stock, and order fulfillment while maintaining safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates have 24+ months of van driving experience, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Must have 24+ months of recent, verifiable experience driving a van.
• Ability to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify items received against orders for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare shipments as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift maintenance checklist and report times.
• Read customer orders and shipping documents to determine items to move, gather, distribute, or ship.
• Ensure warehouse is neat, safe, and compliant with safety requirements.
• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customertraffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
