**Summary:**
Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate performs all shipping and receiving activities for a Branch location. This role ensures the customer receives the correct items in a timely manner and all stocked merchandise is properly maintained.

**Job Duties:**

• Determine which items need to be picked, checked, and shipped based on sales orders.
• Pull and recheck orders to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare items for delivery to customers.
• Secure packages to prevent damage during shipping.
• Prepare customer returns for shipment back to the Distribution Center, Fulfillment Center, or supplier.
• Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to established organization codes.
• Report any damaged or non-standard inventory to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Deliver items to customers and obtain signatures for receipt, if required.
• Process counter sales or invoices for customers.
• Operate a forklift or similar equipment, if certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Record received items in the computer system to update availability.

**Education & Experience:**
High school diploma or GED typically required.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
Basic math and reading comprehension skills; basic computer skills.

**Physical Demands:**
Must be able to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.

**Licenses & Certifications:**
May require forklift operation certification; valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
