Job summary

Richards Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Greer, SC location. Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

1st Shift core hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, eligible for Over Time. Benefits include a comprehensive package and opportunities for career advancement in a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand, bend and twist throughout shift.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Adhering to all safety policies including wearing harness and other equipment.
• Work Monday through Friday with overtime potential during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials in the warehouse and process inventory.
• Load trucks for deliveries and secure loads per DOT regulations.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double check all loads for accuracy and security for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support including shipping/receiving.
• Pull orders for walk-in customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Richards Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Greer, SC location.

1st Shift "core" hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, eligible for Over Time

• Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written)
• Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written communication skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members.

• Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.
• Work Monday through Friday and opportunity for overtime during the busy season.

Requirements

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Providing superior customer service
• Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
• Providing warehouse support including shipping/receiving
• Pulling order for walk-in customers
• Must have a clean driving record
