Job summary

Resource Innovations, a women-led energy transformation firm, seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform warehouse tasks in Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro NC and Greenville SC. You will pull, assemble and package orders for Energy Efficiency Programs and events, while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

RI offers competitive pay of $19–$23 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, holidays, 401(k) with match, medical/dental/vision, parental leave, and commuter

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED are required.
• Six months of warehouse/fulfillment/inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, and climb.
• Willingness to operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment or be trained.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/order-tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, organization, and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, store, and accurately record energy-efficiency measures and materials.
• Pick, stage, and issue materials for field technicians based on work orders.
• Track serial-numbered devices and inventory from receipt to reconciliation.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Process returned or defective equipment per procedures.
• Organize and consolidate products with pallet jacks; palletize for shipping.
• Load pallets into storage and assist with bi-weekly tractor trailer pickups.

Resource Innovations is currently seeking Warehouse Associates in Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Greensboro, NC and Greenville, SC. As a Warehouse Associate with Resource Innovations, you will complete various warehouse-oriented activities such as pulling, assembling and packaging various customer orders for Energy Efficiency Programs and events.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, store, and accurately record energy-efficiency measures, demand response devices, tools, and other program materials.
• Pick, stage, and issue materials and equipment for field technicians based on scheduled work orders and planned field activity.
• Track serial-numbered demand response devices and other controlled inventory from receipt through issuance, return, and reconciliation.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory reconciliations and investigate or elevate discrepancies.
• Process returned, defective, unused, or replaced equipment in accordance with program procedures.
• Organizes and consolidates like products with pallet jacks/hand carts as they are received into inventory
• Stacks packages onto pallets and wrap/label for shipping
• Loads pallets into storage (use of pallet jack required)
• Breakdown cardboard and organize/palletize for bi-weekly tractor trailer pickups
• Cleans and maintains all areas of the warehouse daily
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Six months of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, inventory, production, or related experience preferred; equivalent transferable experience will be considered.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, and climb
• Ability to safely operate, or willingness to be trained to operate, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and order-tracking systems
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions, including workplace safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, organization, and teamwork
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The expected compensation for this position will be $19/hr. - $23/hr. The stated compensation represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
