Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Louisiana is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load/unload trailers, verify shipments, and maintain accurate records. The role supports efficient distribution from our manufacturing facilities to stores while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, perform cycle counts, and work the night shift from 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The position offers full benefits and competitive starting pay of $21.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of shipping experience.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and verify route loads and reports.
• Count and check products, maintain records, and participate in cycle counts.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment and labeling machines.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".
• Operate material handling equipment; including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What we need from you:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 Years of shipping experiencepreferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
