Job description

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight from over‑road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks. The Warehouse Associate uses hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight and other job duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operates all material handling equipment in a safe manner
  • Working with different departments to meet demands of the business
  • Communicating any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading
  • Keeping up to date with new systems and technology
  • Participate in daily inventory processes, auditing and researching discrepancies
  • Demonstrate reliability and commitment to punctuality
  • Performs all job tasks as assigned (may vary depending on client requirements)
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to work overtime (as needed) to meet operational and customer demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
