Job summary

Riverstone Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support daily warehouse operations at a designated distribution center or cross-dock facility. You will lead a team of Warehouse Associates to meet operational goals and help maintain accurate inventory records.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager to drive efficiency, accuracy, and team performance, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience leading a team to goal achievement.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work with strong follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, and sound decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with team members and management.
• Ability to work overtime (as needed) to meet operational and customer demands.
• Ability to maintain performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to multi-task with excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Warehouse Specialist supports daily warehouse operations at a designated distribution center or cross-dock facility. This role works alongside and provides guidance to a team of Warehouse Associates to ensure operational goals are met. In addition to performing core warehouse functions, the Warehouse Specialist supports Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes, helps maintain accurate inventory records, and partners closely with the Operations Manager, Warehouse to drive efficiency, accuracy, and team performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operates all material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Working with different departments to meet demands of the business
• Communicating any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience with leading a team to goal achievement, prior supervisory experience a plus
• Ability to prioritize and organize work, along with strong follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, and sound decision-making skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with team members and management.
• Ability to work overtime (as needed) to meet operational and customer demands
• Ability to maintain performance in a fast-paced environment
• Capability to multi-task with excellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Two (2) years or more of experience in logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field preferred
