Northeastern Supply, Inc. in Georgetown, Delaware, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our branch team. You will accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, pick, scan, and stage product for delivery or pickup, contributing to efficient order fulfillment.

The role requires forklift certification or willingness to obtain it, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and the stamina to stand all day. We offer comprehensive benefits after 45 days and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn; warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours daily.
• Able to frequently stoop, bend, and reach; work in variable indoor/outdoor temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup; track order status at all times
• Receive shipments, log into inventory, conduct regular audits, and process returns accurately
• Follow all special instructions pertaining to individual orders
• Operate a forklift and order picker safely and efficiently; maintain required certifications
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment safety checks; report discrepancies to supervisor
• Support team goals; treat coworkers with fairness, respect, and open communication
• Adhere to all rules and regulations; maintain a strong, focused work pace

Role Overview

Order Fulfillment & Inventory

• Pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup; track order status at all times

Safety & Equipment

• Uphold the highest safety standards; comply with all legal and company safety policies
• Identify hazardous conditions, report or correct unsafe situations, and enforce safety procedures
• Operate a forklift and order picker safely and efficiently; maintain required certifications
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment safety checks; report discrepancies to supervisor

Teamwork & Communication

• Support team goals; treat coworkers with fairness, respect, and open communication
