Job summary

Lansing Building Products LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Fredericksburg, VA. You will greet customers, manage loads, and use RF scanners to track products in the TWL system.

Responsibilities include verifying order accuracy, lifting heavy materials up to 70 lbs, and keeping a clean, organized facility while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• High energy and integrity.
• Experience in building products and prior warehouse experience strongly desired.
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with customers.
• Ability to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a forklift is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to new ways of doing business.
• Positive attitude.

• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received

Qualifications:

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
