Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Danvers, MA. You will greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks, using handheld RF scanners to move and track items in our TWL warehouse system.

A typical day begins around 7:00 AM and ends around 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with little weekend work. You will verify order accuracy and help keep the warehouse clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• High energy and integrity.
• Experience with building products and previous warehouse work is strongly desired.
• Ability to lift up to 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with forklift is a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks.
• Use handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products via TWL WMS.
• Verify order accuracy for picked orders and shipments received.
• Lift and move building materials up to 70 pounds.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.

Responsibilities:

• Live our mission statement centered on our values of respect, service, and excellence
• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucks
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
• Strong, positive attitude

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
