Job summary

Tri-State Water, Power & Air is seeking a warehouse and delivery associate in Frankfort, IL. You will manage inventory, deliver parts to job sites, and support plumbing teams while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior warehousing experience is required; home services/construction warehousing is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects; hands-on, demanding environment.
• Dependability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn and assist with various plumbing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain stock records and coordinate with purchasing for replenishment.
• Parts Delivery: Safely prepare, package, load, and deliver parts to job sites.
• Assist Plumbing Teams: Support technicians on-site with tools and equipment.
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with technicians and suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Quality Control: Inspect delivered parts for quality and report issues.
• Safety First: Follow safety protocols while handling supplies and driving company vehicles.

What You'll Do in This Role:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records for supplies, tools, and materials. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department for timely replenishment. Keep the warehouse organized and efficient.
• Parts Delivery: Safely prepare, package, load, and deliver parts and materials to job sites. Ensure timely deliveries so installers can complete their work without delay.
• Assist Plumbing Teams: Help technicians on-site by carrying tools, materials, and equipment. Perform basic plumbing/electrical tasks under supervision, learning valuable skills from experienced professionals. Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with technicians to meet job-specific requirements. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Quality Control: Inspect delivered parts and materials for quality and accuracy, promptly reporting any issues to the purchasing team.
• Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols while handling supplies and driving company vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
