Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Fort Myers. You will greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks, using handheld RF scanners and our TWL system to track and move products efficiently.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to lift 70+ lbs while maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Weekend work is generally not required, with hours around 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 70+ lbs.
• Team player with the ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with load/unload of trucks.
• Pick tickets and move products using handheld devices.
• Verify accuracy of orders and shipments received.
• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment.
• Operate forklift when required (preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucks
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
• Strong, positive attitude

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
