Job summary

The Corken Steel Products Company in Florence, KY seeks a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations by pulling, staging, receiving, stocking, and validating materials for customer pickup, delivery, and branch functions.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, you will help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse while delivering courteous service to customers, vendors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, HVAC, Roofing, or building materials experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly and work in varying warehouse/outdoor conditions.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to follow procedures and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull, stage, verify, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers, vendors, drivers, and team members.
• Assist with loading and unloading Fabrication, HVAC equipment, Roofing supplies, and related materials.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory and transfers.
• Prepare and stage materials for outbound deliveries or customer pickup.
• Complete shipping, receiving, return, and signature documentation accurately.
• Process return materials according to company warranty and branch procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, tow motors, pallet jacks when authorized.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, staging, loading, and storage areas.
• Follow safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping expectations.
• Participate in company-sponsored training.
• Communicate shortages, damaged materials, inventory concerns, or safety hazards promptly.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations at The Corken Steel Products Company by accurately pulling, staging, receiving, stocking, and verifying materials for customer pickup, delivery, and branch operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, this role helps maintain safe, organized, and efficient warehouse conditions while providing professional service to customers, vendors, and team members.

• Participate in company-sponsored product, vendor, warehouse, and safety training.
• Communicate shortages, damaged materials, inventory concerns, order issues, or safety hazards promptly.

Experience

• Entry-level candidates with strong detail orientation and ability to complete required on-the-job training may be considered.
• Forklift, tow motor, pallet jack, or material-handling experience preferred.
