Job summary

Skyeton, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Fayetteville, NC to support aerospace manufacturing operations by receiving, inspecting, stocking, and shipping materials.

You will maintain accurate inventory records and ensure production teams receive correct materials when needed. This hands-on role requires operating forklifts, keeping organized warehouse areas, and adhering to safety, quality, and traceability requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of warehouse, distribution, inventory-control, shipping and receiving, logistics, or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift; current certification preferred, or ability to complete Skyeton training before independent operation
  • Experience using pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, scales, scanners, and other warehouse equipment
  • Basic knowledge of receiving, stocking, picking, kitting, packing, shipping, and inventory-control practices
  • Ability to accurately read purchase orders, packing slips, part numbers, labels, bills of material, work orders, and written procedures
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory, ERP, shipping, and barcode-scanning systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory and traceability records
  • Ability to work independently, follow priorities, and communicate shortages, discrepancies, damage, or safety concerns promptly
  • Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as business needs require
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound materials, components, supplies, tooling, and equipment; verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and shipping documents
  • Inspect deliveries for visible damage, discrepancies, or missing documentation and promptly report issues to Supply Chain, Quality, or supervision
  • Accurately label, identify, store, and preserve materials in assigned warehouse locations
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other authorized material-handling equipment
  • Complete company-required forklift training, evaluations, inspections, and operating documentation
  • Pick, stage, kit, and deliver materials to production work centers based on approved work orders, bills of material, and inventory transactions
  • Process material issues, returns, transfers, receipts, adjustments, and other inventory transactions accurately and promptly in the company system
  • Maintain lot, batch, serial-number, shelf-life, and other traceability records as required
  • Support cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliation activities, and investigation of inventory discrepancies
  • Package, label, document, and prepare domestic or international shipments in accordance with customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and maintain organized shipping, receiving, staging, quarantine, and controlled-material areas
  • Follow procedures for nonconforming, rejected, expired, damaged, hazardous, export-controlled, or customer-owned material
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions, damage, or maintenance needs before operating equipment
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and clearly identified warehouse locations using 5S and good housekeeping practices
  • Follow all safety, security, quality, ESD, FOD-prevention, PPE, and material-handling requirements
  • Perform additional warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing-support duties as assigned by leadership

Skyeton is a leading manufacturer of long-endurance fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems (UAS) supporting intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, defense, infrastructure monitoring, and critical mission operations. The Raybird family of platforms has accumulated hundreds of thousands of operational flight hours in real-world environments. Skyeton USA Manufacturing is building its first U.S. production facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with additional expansion planned in Nevada and Oklahoma.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports Skyeton’s aerospace manufacturing operations by safely receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, moving, and shipping materials, components, tooling, and finished products. This position maintains accurate inventory records and ensures production teams receive the correct materials when needed.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Warehouse Associate must be able to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment, follow inventory and traceability requirements, protect sensitive aerospace components, and maintain an organized and secure warehouse.

What you'll do

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of warehouse or materials experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, manufacturing, or another regulated environment
  • Current powered industrial truck or forklift operator certification
  • Experience with ERP or inventory-management systems and barcode scanners
  • Experience with serialized, lot-controlled, shelf-life-controlled, ESD-sensitive, or export-controlled materials
  • Knowledge of aerospace traceability, AS9100, FOD prevention, ESD control, or quality requirements
  • Experience preparing domestic and international shipments
  • Experience in a startup, greenfield, or rapidly scaling manufacturing organization
