What you need to know about this position

• Union Representation: The position is represented by a labor union.
• Schedule: 4–5 days depending on business needs, between Monday and Saturday. Start time 8:00 am (8‑hour shift).
• Branch location: 24100 Research Drive Farmington Hills, MI 48335.
• May involve working with forklifts and/or pallet jacks.

Responsibilities and duties

• Participate in truck unloading, stock counting, order processing, and maintain warehouse organization.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and conduct regular safety checks on equipment to prioritize safety.
• Accurately assemble and load products onto delivery trucks in a timely manner.
• Perform order picking, palletizing, and loading/unloading delivery trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Record, report, and return defective items from previous deliveries.
• Accept, verify, inspect, and record all incoming deliveries and shipments following company policy.
• Adhere to safety and quality checks to protect staff and products.

Job Specific Requirements

• Valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID. The role services a military base facility where this is required for access.
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment and utilize a Warehouse Management System (SAP EWM).
• Proficiency in physical tasks such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 50 lbs/25 kg).
• Preferably experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
• Possess or be able to obtain relevant licenses to operate equipment.
• Willingness to take on other related duties as assigned.

• Follow schedules and instructions from the Foreman or Supervisor for efficient operations.
• Be flexible with schedules based on customer demands.
• Have a general understanding of warehouse operations and practices.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

Salary and Benefits

Hourly payrate: $22.20 per hour.
