Warehouse Associate – Total Safety is seeking a safety‑conscious team member responsible for processing customer orders, receiving inbound purchases, stocking items, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment at a starting hourly pay of $18.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and expedites shipments
- Determines method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements
- Compares identifying information on outgoing shipments to verify product and counts match outbound shipment documentation.
- Maintains overall cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
- Follows labeling requirements for each customer
- Properly operates material‑handling equipment to meet safety and production requirements
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- Operation of forklift and cherry picker
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Provides quality control for all outbound orders for accuracy
- Must pass background and drug/alcohol test
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Clean and active driving record
- Time management skills to complete tasks on schedule
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Organized and time‑management skills
- Solves practical problems with minimal supervision
- Interprets packing slips
- Fills out bills of lading and is familiar with forms required by major freight carriers
- Familiar with proper packaging methods and visual aids for specific packaging requirements
- Performs basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratio, percent) in all units of measure

- UPS Worldship knowledge/FED EX Manager knowledge

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear, and lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Operates motorized machinery.
Work Environment
Exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Noise level is usually minimal.
