Job summary

Kotis Design in Fairfield is seeking a Receiving Associate to support inventory intake, kit assembly, and order fulfillment at our fulfillment center. You’ll work a predictable M-F schedule with 8:30 am–5:00 pm hours and contribute to timely packing and shipping to customers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, with on-site teamwork and a fast-paced environment. Training provided; compensation starts at $18/hr with room to grow to $23/hr.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate receiving and inventory checks.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic English instructions and memos.
• Basic math skills needed for quantities and counts.
• Comfort with using a computer for simple tasks and records.
• Commitment to safety and following warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check in and prepare inventory.
• Assemble kits (event/occasion swag boxes).
• Finalize product for retail.
• Pick orders from inventory.
• Pack and ship orders to clients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent attention to detail


• Lift and/or move up to 30 lbs at times


• Regularly stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms


• Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and ability to identify colors


• Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English


• Solid basic math skills and a good ability to keep track of quantities


• Basic computer skills


• Additionally, while performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to warm or cold weather. The noise level in the work environment is often loud.
