Job summary

Mauzy Cooling, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical in Southern California seeks a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, and organize HVAC and plumbing parts, verify shipments, and support service and installation teams in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain accurate inventory records, assist with deliveries, and help ensure safety and efficiency while enjoying benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, PTO and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 21+ with valid driver's license.
• Experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, or related trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Stock and organize HVAC and plumbing parts, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Pick, pull, stage, and load materials for service technicians and installation crews.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• Keep the warehouse clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with deliveries to job sites as needed.
• Process returns, warranty items, and damaged materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock.
• Follow company policies and safety standards.
• Assist with other warehouse and operational duties.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 21+ with valid Drivers License (to operate company vehicle)
• Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, or related trades is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.

Pay Transparency

The starting average rate for this opportunity ranges from $18-$20 hr. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). It assumes a rate based on location and experience.

Physical Demands

• Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
• May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
• May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
• May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
