Job summary

JA Frate, a well-established transportation and logistics company serving the Chicagoland area, is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate, PM Shift. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM start time, and local home-time with a focus on safety and reliable operation.

You will work with a team to load/unload freight, prepare orders for shipment, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include medical and 401(k) options as you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving/dock/distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Basic math and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, label, and stage orders for shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition.
• Move inventory to proper warehouse locations.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to support daily warehouse operations.
