JA Frate, a Chicago-area transportation and logistics company, is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate for the PM shift in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will support daily warehouse operations, load and unload freight, and help ensure on-time movement of local shipments.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Pick, pack, label, and stage orders for shipment
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition
• Move inventory to proper warehouse locations
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to support daily warehouse operations

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. 8:00 AM start time.
