Basic Function

The primary function of this position is to maintain high SES standards for customer service through logistics and sales support. Variances in customer service levels should be reported to the Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, Logistics Manager, or other applicable Administrative Managers.

Essential Functions

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom and warehouse according to safety and appearance standards.
• Complete required training for regulatory compliance (e.g., Hazmat, forklift).
• Communicate openly with management and keep all parties informed of outcomes, discrepancies, safety concerns, and potential problems.
• Follow management requests as appropriate.

Shipping Responsibilities

• Pull and ship orders, ensuring proper storage of will-call orders.
• Double-check orders for quality control.
• Package products efficiently to reduce costs and damage.
• Enter shipping information into SES’s shipping system per guidelines.

Receiving Responsibilities

• Receive products from carriers, verify quantities, and inspect for damage.
• Enter products into the ERP system following guidelines.
• Stock products properly, rotate inventory, and follow policies for non-stock items.

Stocking Responsibilities

• Re-stock showroom shelves daily, inspect packages, and ensure proper labeling.
• Rearrange products to optimize space and accessibility.

Merchandising and Housekeeping

• Ensure consistent product placement and maintain showroom appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse and shipping areas.

Work Environment

Work in a professional office and logistical environment. Must operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging equipment. Use standard office equipment and software, including ERP and HCM systems.

Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform physical tasks as required. Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
