Job summary

Associated Scaffolding in Durham, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to gather and organize equipment for scaffolding orders, unload trucks, inspect and repair gear, and ensure accurate counts for completing orders. You will help assess damaged items, perform repairs to OSHA standards, and support drivers with deliveries as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient task management in a warehouse environment with outdoor and indoor duties.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as a team.
  • The ability to safely handle up to 70 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift to complete assigned tasks, including loading, unloading, moving, pulling orders, and transporting products or equipment.
  • Carpenter skills (PREFERRED)
  • Safely secure loads by banding, wrapping, and/or taping as needed.
  • Inspect returned equipment for utility, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Perform repairs on equipment as necessary to return it to service.
  • Assist drivers with deliveries and pick-ups as directed by the supervisor.
  • Perform other miscellaneous assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Job Description:

As a warehouse associate, you'll gather and organize equipment needed to fulfill scaffolding orders. This individual will also unload trucks that come back from job sites, then inspect and repair each piece of equipment carefully. This position is critical for giving accurate counts to complete orders, checking for damaged equipment, and making repairs to scaffolding equipment up to OSHA and our companies standards.

Working Conditions
  • Employees will spend periods of time indoor and outdoor work settings.
