Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the Dubach, LA area. This role involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling to keep orders moving safely and accurately.

You will work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with pay ranging from $12.00 to $15.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Training in a fast-paced environment is available for those who show reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.
• Experience moving, warehouse, loading/unloading, or general labor preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare customer belongings for transport.
• Load and unload moving trucks.
• Move furniture, boxes, equipment, and household items.
• Handle fragile and valuable items with care.
• Use dollies, pallet jacks, and moving straps safely.
• Organize and secure items for transportation.
• Follow supervisor instructions at job sites.
• Maintain professionalism while working with customers.

Education Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Must wear steel-toe footwear
