Target Specialty Products in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee daily operations in our distribution center. You will assist with loading/unloading trucks, maintain inventory, pick/pack orders, and support customer deliveries.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least two years of warehouse or customer service experience. You should be able to lift 50 lbs, work early mornings and weekends, and follow safety protocols.

What do our Warehouse Associates do?

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for daily operations in the Target distribution centre. Their duties include maintaining the warehouse, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, and making customer deliveries. This role is directly involved in all phases of warehouse operations, including customer service, inventory management, customer interaction, and general warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse operations including local deliveries, inventory management, order entry, and vendor shipping/receiving
• Count, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and products for distribution to customers
• Complete one or more warehouse functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load and possibly assist with delivering orders for our customers)
• Take inventory; document and invoice orders and product movement
• Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports, as required

#RTX100 Base Pay Range Hourly

$18.00 - $25.00

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
