Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports the warehouse operations by receiving incoming freight, checking for damages or shortages, distributing materials to proper locations, filling orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role also involves coordinating deliveries, maintaining safety standards, and supporting warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming freight, check for damages or shortages.
• Distribute materials to correct stock locations and maintain organized shelves.
• Fill special orders and backorders as materials are received.
• Follow up on receiving discrepancies, damages, and shortages with relevant departments, carriers, or vendors.
• Check, pack, and prepare materials for delivery, understanding truck routes and coordinating shipments.
• Maintain shipping equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, proper labeling, and documentation.
• Operate and maintain delivery vehicles, monitor maintenance, and keep logs.
• Support warehouse operations and communicate inventory issues to relevant departments.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience preferred, including warehouse distribution and forklift operation.
• Knowledge of electrical products/systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, and current medical certification if driving.
• Proficiency with Windows, Internet, email, and SAP software is advantageous.

Physical Requirements
