Job description

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30 pm

RATE OF PAY: $21 per hr. + quarterly bonus opportunities

Warehouse Associate

A warehouse associate is responsible for coordinating distribution activities of the depot, including receiving, loading, maintaining cleanliness, and fleet upkeep. The role reports directly to the facility leaders.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  1. Shipping materials to customers.
  2. Weekly receiving of cooking oil tanker trucks.
  3. Executing daily Standard Sanitary Operating Procedures.
  4. Compiling Corporate return orders.
  5. Monitoring daily warehouse inventories such as cooking oil and mechanical parts, and identifying items needed.
  6. Maintaining fleet upkeep, including adhering to maintenance schedules, loading daily routes, and routine cleaning of the facility.
  7. Participating in and contributing to the Safety Goals for the facility.
  8. Regular verification of delivery truck flow meters for accuracy, calibration, and compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards. New trucks entering the fleet must undergo complete tolerance checks and calibrations, with scheduled biannual calibrations in Q1 and Q3 for both fresh and waste meters.
Education, Requirements & Competencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to use a smartphone.
  • Meet Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to carry a minimum of 50 pounds by hand and move items several hundred yards using a cart.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, reach, and climb ladders up to 20 feet high.
  • Ability to interpret documents and make suggestions based on information provided.
  • Effective prioritization and execution of goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills to partner with internal customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B.
