Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring for a warehouse associate in Denver. You will handle receiving, storage, packing and shipping of parts with safety and accuracy.

You will use handheld scanners and may train on order pickers and forklifts. Competitive benefits apply and shifts include day and night options. Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
• Willingness to be trained on and operate order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists.
• Keep in mind, not all available positions operate equipment.
• Report defects and need for repairs.
• Perform housekeeping functions as required.
• Other duties as business demand changes.
• Usage of required PPE and adherence to safety procedures for tasks being performed at all times.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the following tasks (reasonable accommodations may be requested to accommodate individuals with disabilities): Frequently lift 1 - 29 pounds, Infrequently lift 30 - 50 pounds, Stands and walks on concrete/anti-fatigue mat consistently throughout shift Stoops, kneels, squats, frequently throughout shift.

• Value added packaging experience
• PWO experience (Packaging Work Order)

Available shifts

• AWS - Wednesday - Saturday, 5:30 am - 3:30 pm
• 2nd, Monday - Friday, 3:30pm to 11:30 pm
• 3rd, Sunday - Thursday 11:30pm to 7:30am

Starting pay rate

Starting pay rate: $21.65/hour + $1/hour night shift premium (applies to 2nd & 3rd shift)
