Job summary

You will operate order-picker trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, verify packing lists, and ensure accurate, timely delivery to the packing desk while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

The Order Picker will retrieve stock to fill customer orders and transport items to the shipping desk for packing.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives orders from the order desk and retrieves goods from warehouse.
• Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects collected goods.
• Delivers materials to packing desk for packing and updates computer ordering system.
• Uses an order-picker truck, cherry pickers, pallet jacks to pull orders when needed.
• Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Safely operate equipment and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counting as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
• Strong reading and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
