Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload production materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Verify and match shipping cartons, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Maintain inventory controls using available technology.
• Stock received materials on designated racks and shelves.
• Stage materials for use by departments and return excess to designated areas.
• Deliver packages to departments and conduct monthly physical counts.
• Operate equipment for material movement and dispose of pallets when not in use.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• Operatesforklift,electricormanualpalletjacktotransportheavymaterials.
• Maintainsforkliftandelectricpalletjacktoensurecontinuedoperationofthemachines.
• Monitorsdocumentshreddingprocesswithmobileservicevendor.
• Schedulesandmaintainsrecyclingbinavailabilitywithvendorinsupportofoperationalneeds.
• Preparesandshipsalloutgoingpackages,verifies,andloadsoutgoingmail.
• FollowsallWarehouseandMailingDepartmentSOPs;ensurestimelyandefficientshipping/receiving practices.
• Crosstrainedtoprovideproductionsupportduringdowntimeinwarehouseresponsibilities.
