Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and assisting customers at the front parts counter for heavy-duty diesel off-highway equipment, trucks, and generators. This includes inventory management, parts handling, and customer service to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receive, inspect, and store shipments of heavy-duty diesel parts.
2. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping or pickup.
3. Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks).
4. Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS.
5. Ensure a clean, safe warehouse environment.
6. Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
7. Load and unload trucks as needed.
8. Assist customers at the parts counter with sourcing and technical guidance.
9. Process sales transactions and handle returns/warranty claims.
10. Build customer relationships to promote repeat business.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
2. 1-2 years experience in warehouse or parts roles.
3. Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel equipment parts.
4. Proficiency with inventory and POS systems, Microsoft Office.
5. Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
6. Strong customer service and communication skills.
