Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load and unload delivery trucks, stock inventory, and operate warehouse equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to maintain a clean, safe working environment. Responsibilities include receiving, off-loading, verifying counts, staging materials, using company software and tools, and performing light fabrication.

Qualifications

• As a candidate you should be team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Forklift experience and a valid driver's license are advantageous.
• One year of warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and climb ladders safely.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and off-loading materials, verifying counts to purchase orders, and checking shipments for damage.
• Ensuring that all stock is properly stored and organized.
• Staging materials for installation, shipment, or customer pick up.
• Using company software, field devices, and paperwork to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operating warehouse equipment and performing light fabrication tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

DH Pace Company, Inc. currently has a great career opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to maintain a clean, safe working environment while loading and unloading delivery trucks, stocking inventory and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts.

What You’ll Do

• Receiving and off-loading materials, verifying counts to purchase orders, and checking shipments for damage


• Ensuring that all stock is properly stored


• Staging materials for installation, shipment, or customer pick up


• Utilizing company specific software, field devices, and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information


• Utilizing hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment (including, but not limited to, box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, for lifts, drills, saws, etc…)


• Light fabricating


• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• High School Diploma/GED preferred


• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail


• Ability to safely lift 75 pounds above your head and climb ladders with loads


• One (1+) year of warehouse experience preferred


• Must possess a valid Driver's License and a good driving record


• Forklift experience is a plus
