Job summary

Kenny Pipe & Supply is hiring for a warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials. You will unload trucks, verify orders, and prepare shipments while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.

Responsibilities include reading orders, assembling customer orders, and recording inventory data. Requires forklift training and ability to lift up to 75 lbs; health, dental, vision, and 401(k) options are offered.

Qualifications

• Must read customer orders and transfer/shipping requests accurately.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Must follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and matching purchase orders.
• Read orders to determine items to move or ship and assemble orders.
• Sort materials by bin location and keep area clean and safe.
• File paperwork for orders, receiving, and transfers.
• Prepare parcels for shipment via UPS or LTL.
• Record quantities in the system and weigh shipment data as required.
• May perform facilities maintenance tasks and relocate orders as needed.

We believe in sharing our successes, ensuring that everyone shares in the profits they generate and is recognized for their contributions.*Essential Functions** Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in products, matching purchase orders to sales orders.* Read customer orders, transfer orders, or shipping requests to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.* Sort and place materials on racks/shelves/bins according to bin location.* File paperwork related to customer orders, purchase orders, receiving, shipping, and transfers in appropriate designated area.* Ensure the warehouse is accessible, clean, organized, and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.* Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.* Clearly mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.* Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via computer operating system.* Use proper weighing methods for shipment information when freight goes UPS or LTL.* May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed (trash removal, general cleaning).* Complete, fill, and ship transfer requests as needed from other branches.* Prepare parcels for shipment via LTL or UPS.*Physical* *Requirements** Lift/carry/push/pull heavy material or equipment (up to 75 lbs.).* Ability to climb stairs, descend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel.* Climb up and down a 12 foot ladder.*Requirements** High school diploma/GED required.* Must have forklift training.* Ability to drive large warehouse equipment safely and within OSHA and KPS guidelines.*Benefits** Health Insurance* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance* Life Insurance* Flexible Spending Account (FSA)* 401(k) with Company Match* Paid Time Off (PTO)Pay: From $22.00 per hour
