About the Opportunity:

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate Range: $18/Hour

Location: Corcoran, MN

Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

Position Type: Temp to Hire

Warehouse Associate Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred
3. Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
4. Dependable and reliable
5. Inventory, data entry, and computer skills required
6. Solid computing and communication skills a must
7. Regularly required to use hands and body to lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs; occasionally lift/move objects over 50 lbs.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist shipping and receiving, unload/load trucks, and check in merchandise
2. Work with vendors and manufacturers to resolve issues related to purchase orders, products, and inbound merchandise
3. Prepare consumer orders by processing pick tickets, pulling products, packing boxes, and processing shipments through the computer system
4. Sort and organize items on racks, shelves, or in bins
5. Open packages, pallets/crates, and process inbound orders/products through the computer system
6. Review orders for shipment, determine most efficient fulfillment method, and process payments as needed
7. Build and shrink-wrap pallets for outbound LTL shipments
8. Shop LTL rates with freight brokers and schedule bill of lading for inbound/outbound shipments
9. Assist in counting physical inventory
10. Operate engraving machine to produce metal nameplates, including painting, cleaning, quality checking, and packaging for shipping
11. Occasionally operate forklift for loading/unloading and moving inventory
12. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by organizing and cleaning work areas daily
