Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Colorado Springs, CO. You will verify and receive stock, pull and ship orders, and assist customers with orders.

The role requires operating scanners, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of forklift, warehouse, or customer service experience. Proficiency with computer and inventory systems is preferred.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify, receive, and put away incoming stock
• Pull, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfers
• Assist customers with orders, as needed
• Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items
• Operate handheld scanners to receive, move, and track inventory in and out of the facility
• Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventory
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs
• Participate in after-hours training classes
• May be asked to participate in on-call duties, as needed
• Work overtime as assigned
• Work cooperatively with others
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; lay on the floor; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.

The employee must lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The employee may work in environments as cold as 20 degrees or as hot as 105 degrees. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Salary and Benefits

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $20.91 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
