Job summary

GEON Performance Solutions in Clinton, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for packing, pulling and checking customer orders, replenishment, and shipping/receiving duties.

The role requires operating forklifts, preparing materials for production lines, documenting transactions in the system, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

This position offers variety in daily tasks, with 8- or 12-hour shifts and a dynamic plant-floor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and understand computerized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload goods and materials and log data in the system.
• Assemble Gaylord boxes with automated equipment.
• Pull, stage, and repack orders per customer specs.
• Ensure proper labeling of all products.
• Receive or ship materials in the designated system.
• Participate in cycle counting and maintain accuracy.

Job description

Position is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, supply of material to production lines, shipping and receiving materials and material handling and completing all required paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unloads goods and material received, enters appropriate information into system, labels and locates material.
• Assembles Gaylord boxes using automated box building equipment.
• Separates customer orders. Pulls and stages orders. Repacks material if required to meet customer specifications.
• Ensures all products are properly labeled.
• May perform functions/transactions in designated system to receive or ship material.
• May participate in cycle counting. Enters and verifies information.
• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
• Drives forklifts and or track mobiles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Following qualifications are required for this job:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience

Conditions:

Work in plant floor environment. Temperature conditions can vary significantly. Schedule will be 8- or 12-hour shifts. Must stand/walk most of the work time and/or sit/drive forklift. Job duties range from manual labor, to troubleshooting, and use of computerized equipment. Use of heavy motorized equipment including but not limited to fork trucks and/or track mobile.
