Job summary

Hood Distribution in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to retrieve, restock, load, and unload materials across our wood products facility.

You will pull customer orders for next day delivery or pick-up, operate a forklift, verify inventory, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. The role requires lifting 50–100 lbs and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Job description

Hood Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Associate at the Cleveland, OH facility. Hood Distribution is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings, and related wood products whose customers include cabinet shops, millwork houses, retail lumber yards, and similar businesses.

Warehouse Associates retrieve, restock, load, and unload material in the wood industry, including, but not limited to, particleboard, high-pressure laminate, wood finishes and stains, solid surfaces, and other professional woodworking supplies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficiently pulling customer orders for next day delivery and customer pick-up.
• Effectively unloading inbound freight by either hand or forklift, verifying the dropped-off material, and entering items into the system.
• Restocking and verifying inventory in proper bin locations.
• Maintaining a healthy warehouse environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proven warehouse experience (minimum 1 year)
• Prior experience and ability to operate a forklift (minimum 1 year)
• Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) device and computer tools
• Must be able to lift 50-100lbs
• Excellent Customer Service skills

Salary Range:

• $19.00 - $20.00
